The October update to Power BI Desktop is available for download.
- The Analytics features – particularly Grouping and the Top N filter – will definitely raise the value of PBI reports and dashboards and improve the productivity of Power BI projects.
- The date axis range and date slicer (built into standard slicer) will both be very useful as well.
I’ll update the feature docs later this week and may add a few notes based on testing.
